Via Dianne Gibson, PLS: The recipient of our scholarship is Paige Smith of Paragould. Paige attends Brookland High School. The runner-up is Weston Curtner of Jonesboro. Weston attends Westside High School. Congratulations to both of them.

2009 Scholarship winner

Denise Wolfe, a psychology/criminology major at ASU, is the winner of the 2008-2009 $600.00 Educational Scholarship awarded annually by the Northeast Arkansas Legal Support Professionals. Presenting the check to Denise (right) in the attached photos is Joyce Morgan, NEALSP Treasurer (left).

Our NEALSP Scholarship Winner, Kelley E. Glasco, came at the beginning of the meeting to meet everyone and do a photo opp. Kelley is the niece of Dianne Gibson and is a nursing student at Arkansas Northeastern College and will graduate on May 16th as an RN. She works full-time as well in the emergency department at St. Bernard’s Hospital.

Not only is Kelley the NEALSP $600 Scholarship Winner, she is also the AALS $500 Scholarship Winner! So, we went ahead and did photos for the newspaper for AALS as well, since I’m the AALS Scholarship chair! Also, winning the AALS Grant Award this year is my son, Matthew Morgan, of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, who is a seminary student at Bethel University in St. Paul, MN, married and also a full-time Associate Pastor for Jacobs Well Church in Eau Claire.
